SPD Employment - IS DATA SERVICES SENIOR – DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a database administrator with experience using SQL Server and .Net who works independently and as a team player. We have a small IT shop that serves the Office of the State Public Defender (SPD).

The SPD serves indigent clients in all 72 Wisconsin counties as well as the Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The SPD provides representation in cases involving potential loss of liberty for the client as authorized by the state legislature.

Salary: Starting pay is between $43,764 and $64,728 per year, depending upon qualifications, plus excellent state benefits. This position is in pay schedule/range 07-03. A six-month probationary period is required. This classification is covered by the Wisconsin Professional Employees Council bargaining unit.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have Microsoft SQL Server and .Net or comparable program work experience. This position requires occasional travel to SPD offices throughout Wisconsin. Due to the nature of these positions, a criminal background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
