	How long do I keep my case files?
	We have had several questions lately about how long attorney are required to keep case files on SPD appointed cases. Our rules require that attorneys keep their case files at least three years after the case has been completed and billed. However, there are ethical considerations concerning the disposal of client's case files. Each attorney is responsible for handling client files properly.
