The State Public Defender brief bank is intended to provide actual examples of appellate briefs. It contains selected briefs from 1998-2001 filed by the SPD Appellate Division staff attorneys.
The SPD accepts no responsibility for the content of the briefs. The briefs are presented in this format for general information purposes only and not as a substitute for original research and writing. In the BROWSE section, briefs are organized around a detailed table of contents. Listed under general topics and subtopics are issue headnotes with links to briefs. In the SEARCH section, select a search option and enter key words to search the entire brief bank. |
