	Private Bar Advisory Committee
	In late 2002 the Wisconsin State Public Defender made a decision to establish a private bar advisory committee. The purpose of the Committee is to provide a formal mechanism for our private bar partners to have a voice in agency decision making. The Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers were contacted and asked to appoint six members each. Members had to be active in our private bar program. The first meeting of the Committee was held on May 30, 2003. Private Bar Committee Members The Committee will meet quarterly. Meeting minutes will be posted on these pages. Meeting dates will also be posted. Private bar attorneys are encouraged to contact Committee members or ACD to bring discussion items to the meetings.
